Fulvic acid is a natural integral component of humic acid. In order to create a fulvic acid solution the fulvic acid molecules need to be separated (extracted) from the base humic ("humate") material. The result is the lowest molecular weight substances (fulvic acids) are now isolated (separated) from the heavier molecular weight humic substances. The downside to that is, you will have left behind some of the most valuable nutrients that have been proven to provide significant health benefits to the body. Our opinion is, unless you are a scientist performing tests solely on the lower molecular weight molecules (fulvic acids) you would not want to omit these valuable nutrients.

Some Humic Acid Facts:

- A humic acid solution containing more than 5% humic acids will appear dark brown.
- A humic acid solution containing 10% or more humic acids will look like black water, you will not be able to see through it.
- A humic acid solution containing 20% or more humic acids will look like black water, and again, you will not be able to see through it.
Below 6 pH humic acid "precipitates", meaning, that the humic acid molecules in the solution will begin clumping together and fall out of suspension settling on the bottom of the container. All of the humic acid molecules will ultimately be lying on the bottom of the container. BEWARE! If a solution is claimed to contain humic acid and that solution is less than 6 pH, and there is no black layer of humic acid settlement on the bottom, the solution does not contain actual humic acid.
Any fulvic acid or humic acid product claimed to contain more than 10% humic acid should look like black water, the richer it is in humic substances the darker it should be. You should not be able to see through it. If it does not appear dark brown and you can see through it you can be assured that it does not contain more than 10% humic acid.

The percentages determined by various testing facilities are basically ballpark estimates based on the particular testing method that the particular testing facility uses. Throughout nature Humic substances are considered to be the most chemically active compounds in the soil. SUGGESTED USAGE
ADULTS (age 14 and older): Recommended dosage is 1 tablespoon in 4 to 6 fluid ounces of potable non-chlorinated water in the morning on an empty stomach 15-30 minutes before eating food. A second dose may be taken in the same manner in the late afternoon.
For other health challenges: Up to 4 tablespoons in 4-6 ounces of non-chlorinated water 2 or 3 times per day -- or as directed by your health care professional.
IMPORTANT: Product should be consumed with non-chlorinated water only.
